Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Beginning with fiscal year 2013 (fiscal years after December 31, 2012), all companies compelled to submit a financial statement are required to submit the statement to the tax authorities electronically. The scope of the data to be submitted has been precisely defined by the Federal Ministry of Finance. The submission takes place in so-called taxonomies.
This requires data from your Infor system to be processed and transmitted in the specified form. We work with the recommended Infor product “ReportFactory” from ABZ Reporting GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany.
The ReportFactory is a program for creating electronic company statements in XBRL format. XBRL is the international standard for electronic reporting. It was introduced by the German tax authorities as part of the tax bureaucracy reduction act (SteuBAG), together with the so-called E-Record. Reporting companies must submit their financial statements in XBRL format for fiscal years beginning after December 31, 2011. ReportFactory supports the creation and submission of E-Balances. It is a supplemental software for companies whose existing FiBu-/ERP or tax software does not offer XBRL and E-Reporting functionality. The software was designed for professional users in the accounting department. We would be happy to provide you with an offer at no obligation.
To avoid retroactively changing all account allocations at the start of 2014 in accordance with the new guidelines, we recommend that you check the existing general ledger (GL) accounts now and make adjustments where necessary.
We are happy to help with checking or changing your system of accounts. Please contact us!
